Job Description

Arrows Group Healthcare have a distinguished client within South East, who are currently searching for high quality Care assistants on Permanent, Contractual and Ad-Hoc Shift basis. This is a reputable Trust, and is a place that will augment any healthcare professional\'s career by enhancing an individual\'s knowledge base and clinical expertise.The right candidates will possess excellent clinical skills to complement other abilities and character traits, such as good organisational prowess, patience, sound judgement, wisdom and the ability to multi-task & prioritise. The chosen Care assistant will be responsible for the following:1. To undertake personal care duties as required to service users including toileting, washing, feeding, and manual handling and transfer under the direction of the Manager on duty.2. To support service users in a way that maintains dignity and privacy.3. To participate in record keeping, through brief written recording on individual case files.4. To participate in organised activities, to meet service users\' needs; this may include occasional excursions from the establishment, some basic food preparation and domestic tasks.5. To assist service users in the performance of practical tasks including shopping and community activities to promote independence.You must have:-1 Year uk hospital experience-NVQ Level 2 or higher-In date Moving and Handling (within the last year)-In date CPR training (within the last year) Preferably :* Have excellent report writing skills. * Have Access to a vehicle (preferably) * Have very good problem solving skills. * Have excellent communication skills. * Be flexible with hours.Medication Competency First AidArrows group benefits:Free uniform Free training update 24 hours 7 days a week access to staff members Competitive pay rateImmediate opportunity to work once compliantRefer a friend scheme
